It is vital that everyone involved in Football, whether they are players, coaches, members, officials, volunteers, parents or spectators, understand their responsibilities to ensure that all participants enjoy the sport in a safe and family-friendly environment. Through our affiliation with Football Federation Victoria (FFV), failure to comply with any of the Codes of Behaviour will be met with sanctions, as outlined in the BNUSC Constitution and the FFV Grievance, Disciplinary and Tribunal By-Law.

As of 1 January 2017, the Victorian Child Wellbeing and Safety Amendment Act 2015 requires sports clubs to meet “Child Safe Standards” (The Standards).  The Standards are aimed at helping clubs to protect children from abuse. BNUSC Child Safety provisions can be seen here. For more information on Child Safety in Football, please visit FFV.
